Started the year with a move to a foreign country. Followed by months of all the logistics that come with establishing a new home for a family of four. Find house, check, unpack belongings and set up said house, check, new school for Sunshine, check, pre-K for Rooby, check. I found an organization to volunteer for that will give me great training and experience that I may eventually be able to use in a paying job. The husband, my man in blue (MIB), settled nicely in his new position, in spite of long hours and lack of staff. He only went on one short TDY that I can think of and any year that we spend the majority of the year together is a good year! Sunshine had a tough time in the begining dealing with all the change from the move and showed it through horrible tantrums and bad behavior. He did finally adjust and is doing great in his new school and is slowly making friends. Rooby took a long time to understand how far away we moved but took it all in stride. He misses his little friends from OH and surprisingly still talks about them a year later. He handled the move the best of all of us. Overall 2010 was a good year that strengthened our family bond as well as gave us all a chance to grow individually.
